Scottish Harrier Club hosted the 'Lifestyle Sports Night of Miles at Newtown Park; their chosen charity was Mary Potter Hospice. Wellington didn't disappoint providing great weather and a fun atmosphere this year with Santa also in fine form. Julie Edwards competed in the mile walk. Next up was Darcy Mellsop in the C mile and Mark Anderson competed in the B grade mile, taking 2nd place in the M50 grade. Bruce Atmore, Michelle Van Looy, Brad Thompson, Jenny Alderton-Moss and Liz Anderson competed in the All-comers mile with Santa along with Chris Speakma, Mark and Darcy. Olympic fielded 2 teams in the mile relay, with the ‘A’ Team blitzing the field - Darcy, Chris, Mark and Bill Twiss (Feilding Moa).
Note the all-comers race isn't timed so there are no results.
