The Olympic Composite Team placed 3rd at the National Road Relay Championships today in Nelson. The Team: Miles Coverdale, Gordon Blacklaws, Sheryne Beeby, Andrew Crowley, Nigel Hay and Simon Hay posted a time of 2:59:09.

The Junior Mens Team: Daniel Robertson, Chris Blackford, Martin Hay, Brendon Blacklaws, Al Mallard and Matt Singleton placed 16th in a time of 2:40:40. The Masters Men: Dave Murgatroyd, Mark Handley, Ged Brent, Mike Wakelin, Rob McCradden, Glen Boyle and Craig Walker were 7th in 3:58:05 just behind Valleys United (3.56.18)
