Secondary Schools Cross Country & NZ Short Course Cross Country Champs 23 Jun 2003.
Saturday saw quite a few Olympic Members competing at the NZ Secondary Schools XC Champs at Trentham Memorial Park, the conditions were great and the event huge with some 1200 athletes competing. The event also included the NZ Short Course XC Champs run over 4kms. Short Course Results are here.
The highlight of the day, for Olympic, was seeing Matt Prosser put on a startling burst of speed over the last 50 metres to take out the senior boys event. His team from Wellington College, supporting well, took out the teams competition. Secondary Schools Results are here.Olympic Members:
