Athletics New Zealand this week confirmed a majority of places in the four teams to contest the World Trophy event on an ‘up and down’ course in Alaska later in September. Courses alternate between ‘uphill-only’ and ‘up-and-down’ each year. Mike Wakelin (Senior Men) and Matt Prosser (Junior Men) have been named in the team. A number of places in the team, especially in the senior men’s grade, remain open and dependent upon performances in events both in New Zealand and overseas over coming weeks.
