27th November - Club members run/walk circles and the coast for the men's mental health awareness cause, MOVEMBER - raise over $18,000 29 Nov 2021.

Club members Bruce Atmore, Richard and  Michelle Van Looy, Richard and Paula Martin and Andrew Thompson joined forces with  MTAR (more than a run) team captain, Ben Edusei.  Team members could pledge to run/walk 10k, 30k or 60k.

Bruce Atmore, Richard and Michelle Van Looy ran 30k around Karori Park, supported by club members; Graeme Moss, Sheryne Coverdale and Craig and Felicity, Maia and Riley Holden jumping in and out of laps, or filling water bottles!  Scottish Harriers, who were there training, were also very supportive.  Speedster Eric Speakman and club member Reuben Beard provided some added entertainment, clearly on a training mission!

Richard and Paula Martin walked 10k,;Richard, injured at the moment, was still keen to participate.  He had biked the first 20k to the park from Tawa.

Captain Ben started at 5:30 am on his 60k run (starting at Upper Hutt and finishing in Seatoun). Friend of the club, Terry McDonald, guided Ben from Moonshine Road to Petone, where Andrew Thompson took over. Terry jumped in again along with Michelle for the last 10k to bring Ben home.

Thank you for all the messages of support and sponsorship for this worthy cause.
