Harriers open day: Saturday 6 April 24 Mar 2013; updated 5 Apr 2013.
The harriers season is upon us!
Due to Easter, we are opening slightly later than usual: Saturday 6 April. We are inviting all returning and new senior and master members (i.e. those 20 and over) to come along on this day, and see what it's all about. We meet at our clubrooms on Bannister Ave at 1.45 for a welcome and notices, then split into groups and go for a run or walk at 2pm. There are groups to suit all abilities, from the walkers and 30 minute runners to the over 60 minute groups.
There will be no programme for the juniors (age five up to the under 20s) on Saturday 6th. Your opening session will be on the following Tuesday night (9th April), and will be held beside the juniors' training session from 4.15pm to 5pm. It will be the perfect opportunity to come along and give it a go.
The normal Saturday juniors' programme will resume the following Saturday (13th April).
After two Saturdays running from the clubrooms, we are straight into our first races -- the Maiden and Perston 2km cross country club race at Newlands College on the 20th April, and the popular Shaw Baton inter-club relays at Battle Hill on the 27th April.

Update: we will now have runs/activities for any juniors who want to come along to this open day.
