Juan McDonald a finalist in the SPARC Sports Volunteer Awards 1 Sep 2011.
Club Captain Juan McDonald has been named a regional finalist in the SPARC Sports Volunteer Awards for his contribution to coaching at Olympic Harriers and the Tawa Football Club.
Sport Wellington announced that "it received over 340 nominations for the awards and the judges have had the difficult task of deciding regional finalist in the three categories for Wattie's Student Sport Volunteer Award, SPARC Sport Volunteer Award and Lifetime Achievement Award (for 25+ years of service to community sport). The winners will be announced on the 21 September at the Awards breakfast to be held at the Renouf Tennis Centre."
