Jane at the NIXC champs

Athletics NZ has named a national squad to prepare for the world cross-country champs in Lausanne (Switzerland) next March. Selections to compete will be made from the squad, which is made up on NZ’s top athletes. ANZ have said they are looking to “revitalise New Zealand’s performances at this elite premier event”.

Selected from Olympic’s ranks is Jane Nalder, in the junior women’s squad.

Also named was an under-23 development team to contest the Australian Championships this weekend in Nowra, NSW. Included in the team of 12 was Olympic’s Moana Burt.
