Matt & Dana Named in Squad for World Champs 11 Aug 2003.
Following the National Cross Country Championships in Tauranga over the weekend, the Athletics New Zealand selectors announced a squad from which the teams to the World Championships in Brussels will be selected in early 2004.
In announcing the squad, selector Brent Rollo commented that “…the naming of this team does not mean the door is closed on other athletes. It is highly likely we will see performances over the next few months that will warrant additions to the squad.”
It is anticipated that the squad will hold several camps between now and the end of January in preparation for the world event.
