As part of Cigna Round the Bays 2017, Sport Wellington is running ‘The BLK Club Challenge’ which is a competition for any sports clubs or teams in the Wellington region. 

The competition is aimed at getting as many sports clubs or teams involved in one of Wellington’s largest community events. Whether the competition serves as an opportunity for clubs or teams to come together and get active or is incorporated as part of pre season, there are some exciting prizes up for grabs.

First prize is $1,500.00 worth of gear provided by BLK and will be drawn on the 1st of February, after team registrations close at 5pm on the 31st of January. There are also two secondary prizes, one of which will be drawn randomly and the other will be awarded to the club or team with the highest number of registered participants. The secondary prizes are made up of $500.00 worth of BLK gear.

A minimum of 5 registered participants must be included in a team or club entry in order to be eligible for any of the three prizes.

How Team Members Enter

The team entry process is setup so that each member can register themselves under the team name. Once the team manager has created your new team online follow these steps to join the team:

1. Visit cignaroundthebays.co.nz and click any of the register links
2. Select the event you would like to register under
3. In the pop up prompt select ‘Join a Team’
4. Search for your team name (probably Olympic Harriers)
5. Enter your individual details into the form
6. Pay for your entry*

If any members register individually and retrospectively want to be added to the team, email roundthebays@sportwellington.org.nz to make this change.

All team members need to be entered into the team by 5pm Tuesday 31 January.
