Pack run/walk, Colonial Knob,  Sat 7 Jan, 1:45pm

I could not bring myself to send the email about a summer run yesterday evening - but this morning normal service has been resumed and we are back in the Wellington we all love to run around.  Or perhaps yesterday afternoon is actually a big part of what we love.

This week we are off to Tawa/Porirua  for the first time in a long time.  Meet at the top of Raiha Street (ie up past Kenepuru Hospital) - by the mountain bike track - just before Elsdon Motor Camp, and Rob will direct proceedings.  Back to his place for a BBQ at 97 Woodman Drive, Tawa after your run. BYO. Some meat will be provided but bring along anything else if you like. Darts champs will be happening!!!

Now is the time to ensure your Harriers races go well - too late to do anything after the season starts!

• 14 Jan: Weather permitting a "home" run from Khandallah pool, bring your togs.
• 21 Jan: Maybe a run in the hHutt (looking for a sponsor)
• 28 Jan: Khandallah at Andrea Adams'.

  There are a couple of active Facebook pages associated with the club.  If memory serves you need to be accepted to get access but that is not a big hassle.  A variety of semi organised runs at different levels, encouragement for summer track athletes, and celebrations of current (and some past) performances all turn up regularly.
