Summer Run - brought to you by the letter R 23 Nov 2016.
Pack run/walk from clubrooms, Sat 26 Nov, 1:45pm
There has been some big running in the last month or so with the Round Raro Race, the Road Relays in Rotorua, the Rimutuka Run, and the taRaweRa maRathon. Also well done to Michelle who won her age grade in the Queenstown Half, and Zhihao who completed his first tri last weekend.
Sounds like an excuse for a gently more organised get together after pack run this week. An Island theme is the go, with people to come with suitable attire, perhaps a tropical drink, and a few nibbles to sustain us. Kia Orana!
Athletics
Juniors have a meet this week at Newtown - last one before the National Secondary Schools: http://www.athleticswellington.org.nz/News/track-field-interclub-26-november-1
Tuesday training, Alex Moore, 6:30 pm
Well recommended for all ages, and Chris gets the balance of fun, performance, and a bit of pain spot on.

There are a couple of active Facebook pages associated with the club. If memory serves you need to be accepted to get access but that is not a big hassle. A variety of semi organised runs at different levels, encouragement for summer track athletes, and celebrations of current (and some past) performances all turn up regularly.
