Summer Run - Clubrooms this Saturday 27 Oct 2016.

Pack run walk from the Clubrooms 29 October, 2 pm
A select group last week but then it was a holiday weekend.  Rather than the Bays themselves a few of us went up along the top of the Mirimar Peninsula to Mt Crawford and back via Massey Memorial -- great views and not too taxing!

Apologies for not putting the link last week to the page allowing people to make suggestions on future runs -- here it is https://www.hikingproject.com/trail/7014166 There are a bunch of suggestions, mostly from Trent, but other ideas are welcome and its OK if there are two options for one day -- we can pick the one to go with closer to the time (mention of a BBQ is likely to swing the voting, just saying...).

North Island Athletics Championships (Senior) - 10 December 2016 - Palmerston North
Palmerston North Athletics & Harrier Club will once again be hosting the Senior North Island Athletics Championships at Manawatu Community Athletics Track, Massey University, Palmerston North.  A programme of events and entry form is now available to download from the event webpage here: http://athletics.org.nz/Events/north-island-track-field-championships-4 .

Tuesday training, Alex Moore, 6:30 pm
Well recommended for all ages, and Chris gets the balance of fun, performance, and a bit of pain spot on.

Social Contacts
There are a couple of active Facebook pages associated with the club.  If memory serves you need to be accepted to get access but that is not a big hassle.  A variety of semi organised runs at different levels, encouragement for summer track athletes, and celebrations of current (and some past) performances all turn up regularly.
