Bays Relay this week, from around midday 11 Aug 2016.

Bays Relay, Island Bay, Saturday 13 August

Teams of 5 runners will dash around the south coast to finish at the wind wand with each lap being a bit under 5 km.  People should already have entered, and team captains will likely be posting the teams shortly so keep an eye on your inbox.

  • 10:30  Walkers 5 km (NB first lap, + 224m.) 
  • from 11:30  Collect race numbers from the start
  • 12:30  Women under 20,  Senior Women,  Masters Women (40+)  Masters Men (60+) 
  • 1:00 Men under 20, Senior Men, Masters Men (40+), Masters Men (50+)

Note that the Bays Relays aren't open for U13 and below so for younger members there is the option of the Kids Frenzy (orienteering) run by Jonathon Harper from Wellington Scottish from midday at Owhiro bay.

Wellington Road Champs just around the corner -- Sat 20 August

Options abound this year with the traditional 10 and 5 k races but now another option at 2.5 km.  This is the last in the Wellington interclub series so overall points will be know at the end of the day.  See here for details:
