Summer run/walk Onepoto Domain, Titahi Bay, 1:45pm
Happy to say I lied -- the run advertised last week as being from the clubrooms is in fact out around the coast at Titahi Bay.  It is a top spot  -- meet in the carpark at the rowing club on the lagoon just before you turn into Titahi Bay.    "...afterwards (for those who wish to) we will be going back to our place 3 Marua Place, Ranui Heights Porirua, for a few drinks and nibbles, later that evening for those who want to hang around there will be a few more drinks and a BBQ on offer as a birthday celebration (Mine) and that will end when everybody leaves LOL. Cheers Miles"

Summer is here!
Lots to do around the running scene as we swing into summer.  Athletics Wellington have a round up of athletics events for young and old in their Newsletter (if link doen't work try their news page http://athleticswellington.org.nz/News).  In there you will find notes on Scottish's "Night of Miles"on 19 Dec in Newtown -- no not another BBQ to recognise a stalwart club member, but a fundraiser for the neonatal trust.  There is also the Cigna Kids Fun Run on the 16th Dec -- see https://www.athleticshub.co.nz/events for more.   

If triathlon is your thing the Scorchers are on again, and the mid-week Splash and Dash can be a heap of fun at Oriental Bay -- google around to get details.
